Epic now allows the direct use of the QlikView Business Discovery platform within the system, including the ability to launch applications from QlikView such as a patient’s billing account.

The partnership also aims to improve support to shared clients and create a community among clients to exchange best practices on leveraging both technologies effectively.

Jeffrey Morrison, director of enterprise intelligence at Nemours in Wilmington, Del., a shared client, said “Our relationships with QlikView and Epic helped us also become one of the safest pediatric health systems in the country. The new partnership between these two industry leaders will allow us to further integrate our work and provide even better care for our children and families.”
