The challenge asks designers, developers and health data privacy experts to create a Model Privacy Notice generator that details the privacy and security policies for various apps, wearables or other consumer health devices — similar to how food includes a nutrition label. The ultimate goal is to facilitate transparency, so that consumers can select products with relevant background information.
The winning MPN generator will both be convenient for health technology developers to customize and use and will create a MPN that consumers can easily understand. The MPN generator will be an online open-source tool, which health technology developers can voluntarily use.
The contest is open through April 10, 2017.
