ClearDATA focuses on building secure and compliant cloud offerings to help providers and payers protect sensitive healthcare data. The company’s new service provides healthcare organizations operating on Azure with automated safeguards and compliance dashboards to help them maintain adherence to industry regulations, including HIPAA and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation.

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring our expertise in healthcare compliance to another leading cloud provider,” ClearDATA CEO Darin Brannan said in the company’s July 16 statement. “Countless healthcare organizations either operate on Azure or have expressed a desire to deploy on it but want the assurances ClearDATA offers with regard to security, privacy and compliance stature.”
