Healthcare accelerator program backs 8 startups

Healthcare accelerator Xleratehealth selected eight healthcare startups for their 2022 Louisville accelerator program.

The program will begin Aug. 3 and conclude Oct. 20 with a virtual demo day allowing the startups to pitch to potential investors, according to an Aug. 2 news release. 

The startups selected are:

 

  1. Atalan Tech: A Boston-based startup that uses machine learning to reduce clinician burnout.
  2. Bainom: A San Francisco-based startup that uses artificial intelligence to match genetic data with existing health records.
  3. Biosphere Lab: A Louisville, Ky.-based veterinary laboratory that provides care to exotic animals.
  4. Constance Lab: A Westport, Conn.-based company that is making a surgical decision platform designed to reduce risk.
  5. Ensofy: A Tbilisi, Georgia-based startup that has developed a voice AI tool for treating depression.
  6. Kinometrix: A Fort Belvoir, Va.-based startup looking to reduce hospital-acquired conditions by improving patient monitoring.
  7. Lealta: An Atlanta-based software-as-a-service company that is working to improve patient loyalty.
  8. VRTogether: A Lexington, Ky.-based company creating virtual reality technology designed to reduce loneliness in senior citizens.
