GE Healthcare Sees Slight Profit Increase in Q2

GE Healthcare’s second-quarter revenue remained basically unchanged compared with the same period last year, but profits were up 1 percent.

The healthcare division reported revenue of $4.48 billion during the three months ended June 30, compared with $4.49 billion during the same three months in 2013. However, revenues increased from $726 million to $730 million.

Total GE revenue saw a 3 percent increase in the second quarter and profits up 4 percent, led by the company’s oil and gas division.
