Mr. Thomas previously served as acting assistant secretary and CIO for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In September, a VA spokesperson confirmed Mr. Thomas planned to retire from the agency in October. Mr. Thomas has also held leadership positions in the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Department of the Air Force, among other government agencies.
At Leidos, Mr. Thomas will work to strengthen the company’s customer relationships and manage growth strategies.
