Former athenahealth CMO joins medical equipment data analytics company

Cohealo, a provider of a medical equipment tracking and sharing platform, selected Todd Rothenhaus, MD, to serve as CEO.

Dr. Rothenhaus was previously senior vice president and CMO of athenahealth. He also served as general manager of athenaClinicals, an EHR service. He was formerly a physician and CIO at Dallas-based Steward Health Care.

Dr. Rothenhaus succeeds Brett Reed, who is co-founder of the company. Mr. Reed will become president to focus on strategic partnerships and growth.

Cohealo’s platform enables hospitals and health systems to leverage data analytics to gain insights into equipment usage and sharing opportunities.
