The organizations will utilize Nuance’s artificial intelligence technology — called Florence — and Epic’s EHR system.

Through their collaboration, veterans will be able to more easily schedule medical appointments using voice-driven interactions.

“We are very proud of our work with Nuance to embed their advanced AI technology into Epic’s EHR to deliver next-generation assistive capabilities to our nation’s veterans,” said Epic President Carl Dvorak.
