The two organizations have enabled nine EHRs to automate care summary delivery to DHIN’s Community Health Record, a web-based tool used to access patient data. Through developing this method for certified integration, DHIN will be able to serve more than 100 practices in the region.
This additional EHR interoperability adds to DHIN’s services, which already share health data for more than 2 million patients among acute care hospitals, labs and radiology facilities.
