Overall, roughly 250 people will help launch the new system, hospital senior vice president and CIO Gary Barnes said in the report. During the launch, a company called Conduit will offer simulation training to about 2,800 people, the report states.

MCH won’t be the only local organization using the system. In the report, Mr. Barnes said Midland (Texas) Memorial Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center, along with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, also plan to use the same system.
