Black Book Market Research named the top ranked EHR vendors for four hospital types, based on findings from its 2018 inpatient EHR client satisfaction survey, April 20.

For the survey, Black Book polled 3,040 EHR users about their current contracts, purchasing decisions and overall satisfaction.

Here are the top ranked EHR vendors for four hospital market segments, according to Black Book.

  • Small and rural hospitals under 100 beds: CPSI Evident
  • Community hospitals with 101 to 250 beds: Meditech
  • Academic medical centers and teaching hospitals: Cerner
  • Medical centers with 250-plus beds: Epic
