Gillette, Wyo.-based Campbell County Health is implementing ambient listening for clinical documentation from healthcare AI company Abridge.

The $425 million rural health system began piloting the technology Dec. 2, integrating the ambient AI into its Epic EHR. Feedback from this group of providers will inform the broader rollout in the coming weeks.

“Introducing Abridge allows our clinicians to spend more time connecting with patients while ensuring accurate, secure documentation,” Campbell County Health CEO Matt Shahan said in a news release. “Patients will also have easy access to their visit notes through MyChart, giving them more control and insight into their care.”
