Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health has selected Oracle to standardize its clinical, financial and operational technology.
Building on its existing use of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Quorum will adopt Oracle Health EHR, Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, Oracle Health Patient Accounting, Oracle Health Patient Portal and Oracle Health Data Intelligence, according to a Sept. 15 news release. The move creates a single connected system spanning care coordination, clinical workflows, financial operations and patient engagement.
“We wanted more than an EHR — we wanted a unified system that connects our enterprise and an innovation partner with a clear vision for the future of healthcare,” Quorum CEO Chris Harrison said in the release.
Mr. Harrison added that the Oracle Health tools are meant to reduce clinician documentation burden while strengthening financial performance across Quorum’s rural and community hospitals. The system operates 11 hospitals in nine states.
Quorum, currently a for-profit health system, signed a definitive agreement May 21 with Healthside Partners to transition into a nonprofit organization. The transaction is expected to close in fall 2026, pending regulatory review and customary closing conditions.
