FCMC has been preparing for the new EHR go-live for months, according to the hospital’s Jan. 20 news release.

FCMC owns and operates a 21-bed critical access hospital, a county medical center, a level IV trauma center and a 67-bed skilled nursing care facility. Currently, the nonprofit organization uses Greenway and Medent computer systems for its primary and specialty care practices respectively.

Once the Meditech EHR has been deployed, FCMC patients will be able to access their health records via their smartphone and an online patient portal.
