Northwell Health, based in New Hyde Park, N.Y., plans to deploy Abridge’s ambient AI platform across its 28 hospitals to help clinicians with patient documentation.
The AI platform is designed to convert patient conversations into clinical notes and support workflows across outpatient, inpatient and emergency department settings, according to an Oct. 14 news release.
Northwell said the system will be used alongside a large-scale rollout of Epic’s EHR platform this year.
