“This patent solidifies our position in the EHR market for physicians seeking technology designed to make their lives easier,” ModMed co-founder and CEO Dan Cane said in a Nov. 10 ModMed news release.
The patent comes after the company paid $45 million to settle a lawsuit from the U.S. Justice Department accusing the company of illegally providing kickbacks.
