Meditech adds AI to EHR software

EHR vendor Meditech is adding ambient listening and generative artificial intelligence to its EHR software.

The company is teaming up with Suki to integrate its Suki Assistant into Meditech Expanse, according to a Sept. 21 news release from Suki. The aim of the integration is to speed up clinical documentation and other administrative tasks for clinicians. 

Meditech joins Epic Systems and Oracle in using generative AI technology with the aim of saving clinicians time.
