Hammond-Henry Hospital and its family practice and walk-in clinics will transition to Epic as its EHR system on Sept. 21.

The Geneseo, Ill.-based hospital has used Meditech since 1999. The new system will be hosted by UnityPoint through the Epic Community Connect program, according to an Aug. 20 news release from the hospital.

All existing and new patients will access health information and manage appointments through the Epic-powered MyChart portal. The hospital will continue to contract with the same insurance plans and bill independently.
