Here are three things to know.
1. Freeman Health previously required patients to complete registration paperwork manually, and staff had to scan the forms into its EHR.
2. The implementation of Access’ solutions will allow administrators to register patients through its Meditech EHR. The Access system will generate a form with several portions already filled in with patients’ information.
3. The patient will then complete the form and electronically sign it. The information will be rerouted to their EHR.
