BJC HealthCare integrates Sectra imaging software with Epic EHR

St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare will implement Sectra’s imaging software, which can integrate with its Epic EHR system, across 14 of its hospitals, according to a Dec. 16 news release.

Sectra’s imaging solution can integrate with Epic Radiant, the EHR vendor’s radiology information system.

BJC HealthCare in October signed a five-year contract with Sectra to provide the imaging services, according to the news release. With the agreement, BJC HealthCare will have access to Sectra’s picture archiving and communication system for mammography workflow, 3D orthopedic preoperative planning tools and business analytics, among other capabilities.
