Athenahealth created two digital dashboards to help track COVID-19 data including clinician-ordered lab tests and high-risk patients.

The dashboards are available to Athenahealth’s client base as well as the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition, which comprises 17 large health systems and tech companies such as Mayo Clinic, Intermountain Healthcare, Amazon and Athenahealth.

Athenahealth’s COVID-19 lab test dashboard shows data of tests ordered by clinicians using the Athenahealth network. The data is scattered on an interactive map of the U.S. and allows users to view the information locally by state.

The COVID-19 high-risk populations dashboard uses data from Athenahealth providers to identify concentrations of patients across the country who are at least 65 years old and/or have one or more of the CDC-defined co-morbidities that put them at a high risk of serious illness if they contract COVID-19.
