The compliance and data-security tools are now accessible to the nearly 120,000 healthcare providers in athenahealth’s network. HIPAA One said the tools will help streamline HIPAA security risk analyses.
“Upon signing in to the patient record on the [athenahealth] marketplace, users can launch the HIPAA compliance portal which provides free resources with the security and convenience of single sign on,” Steven Marco, president and founder of HIPAA One, said in a news release.
