Meditech’s revenue up 2% in 2018: 4 notes

Four things to know about the Westwood, Mass.-based EHR vendor’s financial performance:

1. The company posted $488.2 million in revenue for the year, up 2 percent from $480.9 million in 2017.

2. Services revenue accounted for most of Meditech’s earnings in 2018 at $322.7 million, down 1 percent from $326.1 million one year prior.

3. Meditech’s product revenue hit $165.5 million in 2018, up 7 percent from $154.8 million in 2017.

4. The company posted $64.8 million in operating income, up 1 percent from $64 million during 2017.
