Arkansas medical center launches Apple health records feature: 3 notes

El Dorado-based Medical Center of South Arkansas patients can now access their medical data on iPhone via Apple’s Health Records application, El Dorado News-Times reports.

Three notes:

1. The new feature extends to MCSA patients as well as patients of South Arkansas Physician Services, the health system’s medical group.

2. Apple’s Health Records app stores users’ medical records data, such as past procedures, immunizations and medications, on a single platform.

3. Health Records is designed based on fast healthcare interoperability resources, which is a standard for transferring EHRs.
