HealtheConnections, a regional health information organization that supports HIE for 11 counties in New York, and eHealth Technologies, an image-enabled HIE solutions provider, will offer radiologists and support staff across central New Yok access to imaging studies. Through this program, clinicians can download and share images with their own radiology systems from within the HIE.
The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to improve efficiency of radiology services by helping clinicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
