AT&T, IBM & Symantec form IoT Cybersecurity Alliance

Cybersecurity providers and Internet of Things experts from various companies have joined forces to form the IoT Cybersecurity Alliance.

IoT Cybersecurity Alliance members — which include AT&T, IBM, Nokia, Palo Alto Networks, Symantec and Trustonic — will research security challenges, share best practices and aim to impact security policy. The alliance focuses on securing devices at all layers, including endpoint, network, cloud and application.

The alliance plans to share its insights with both customers and industry leaders in an effort to foster collaboration and create a safer IoT ecosystem.
