Amgen builds $474M facility in Ohio

Amgen, a biotech company, has built a $474 million facility in New Albany, Ohio, NBC affiliate WCMH reported Feb. 26.

The new facility is 300,000 square feet and will employ the equivalent of 400 full-time staff members.

Amgen has partnered with Columbus (Ohio) State Community College for an 18-month manufacturing apprenticeship at the facility.
