New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals will implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications in an effort to streamline finance, human resources and supply chain operations across its system.
The move will consolidate key business processes to a single platform, increasing IT security and reducing the health system’s reliance on outdated software and hardware, according to a Sept. 3 news release from the company. NYC Health + Hospitals began working with Oracle Fusion Applications in November.
The system employs more than 45,000 people and serves more than 1 million patients annually across New York City.
Danielle DiBari, PharmD, the system’s chief pharmacy officer, chief procurement officer and senior vice president of business operations, said in the release the transition will improve decision-making and allow teams to focus more resources on patient care.
