Facebook co-founder backs Indian health tech startup

Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Raj Ganguly’s venture capital firm B Capital Group led a series A funding round for Indian health-tech startup Mojocare, Bloomberg reported Aug. 22.

The company raised $20.6 million and plans to use the proceeds to expand its teams and further diversify its product portfolio. 

Other companies joining the investment round include Sequoia India’s Surge, Chiratae Ventures and Better Capital.  

Mojocare aims to address issues regarding reproductive health, fertility, hair care and weight loss through an online platform.
