As Carrum Health’s chief platform officer, Mr. Sharda will lead a team responsible for scaling the company’s consumer tech platform as it expands its provider base and procedures offered.

Carrum Health connects self-insured employers and their employees to Centers of Excellence hospitals to provide more cost-effective healthcare. In February, the company partnered with Cleveland Clinic to connect its members with cardiac care.

Before joining Carrum Health, Mr. Sharda served as the global healthcare and life sciences leader for Google Cloud and worked on projects at X, the research and development division of Google’s parent company Alphabet.

He also previously worked at Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente as the director of advanced analytics.
