Digital health: Who’s up, who’s down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with startups coming onto the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Spring Health, a digital behavioral benefits company, raised $71 million. 
  2. Arcadia, a health data analytics company, received a $125 million investment.

 

Companies that had a bad week:

  1. Digital therapeutics company Pear Therapeutics filed for bankruptcy and laid off 92 percent of its workforce.
  2. Medtech company Medtronic laid off 59 workers at a California facility, MassDevice reported April 12.
