Deaconess Health System to integrate Fitbit with Epic patient portal

Deaconess Health System, based in Evansville, Ind., is in the process of integrating Fitbit into its Epic MyChart patient portal, according to a MedCity News report.

The integration initiative coincides with the health system’s update to its 2014-certified version of Epic’s EHR, according to the report.
