State-by-state breakdown of ransomware attacks on healthcare providers

In 2019, healthcare organizations across the country reported 172 ransomware attacks, affecting 1,446 hospitals, clinics and organizations.

In a Comparitech study released in February, researchers analyzed data from IT news channels, data breach reports and HHS Office for Civil Rights data breach portal.
