Philips earns critical vulnerability classification authority by CISA

Philips is one of the first health tech companies to receive critical vulnerability classification authority by a CISA-sponsored cybersecurity standards organization.

Philips received the status of common vulnerabilities and exposures numbering authority by Mitre Corporation’s CVE Program, a global cybersecurity standards organization, sponsored by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, according to a May 3 press release. 

As a partner of the program, Philips will now be able to publish vulnerability records that inform technology and cybersecurity professionals how to prioritize and address vulnerabilities.
