As of Dec. 7, the health system has restored a variety of clinical applications, including those used for imaging and other critical services, as well as restored access to “a significant number” of workstations for staff.
“We anticipate the restoration of additional high-priority applications in the coming days. Importantly, patient care has not been impacted as a result of this incident,” a One Brooklyn spokesperson told GovInfoSecurity.
The incident, which occurred Nov. 19, caused Interfaith Medical Center, Brookdale Hospital Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center to have to divert patients to other facilities due to IT and EHR systems being down.
Little information has been released about the cause of the disruption.
