Mr. Branzell, president and CEO of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, won a Baldrige Foundation Leadership Excellence Award in the cybersecurity sector.
The awards recognize “outstanding leaders in all of the Baldrige Award sectors: business (manufacturing, service, small business), non-profit, government, healthcare, education and cybersecurity, who provide exceptional support to Baldrige and the mission of the Foundation.”
Mr. Branzell has served as CHIME’s leader since April 2013. His previous roles include serving as CEO of the Colorado Health Medical Group as well as vice president of information services and CIO at Poudre Valley Health System, both based in Fort Collins, Colo. He is also a fellow of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
