Udi Mokady, co-founder, chairman and CEO of CyberArk, explained companies often choose to pay a ransom in an effort to retrieve their files, and purchase bitcoin “in some state or fashion” to pay the hackers off.
“That’s the requirement of most of these hackers,” he said.
