The game works like this: Participants have their blood pressure taken before the game begins. They then take the BioBall, which is approximately the size of a bowling ball, and race to capture the images that flash on a screen in front of them. The BioBall tracks each player’s pulse and heartbeat. The players receive their health statistics, including their blood pressure and body mass index, privately.
BioBall relies on Microsoft HoloLens, a holographic computer.
Participants can use BioBall at Cigna-sponsored public events, and a portable version of BioBall will be available at the locations of Cigna’s clients.
