Here are four things to know.
1. In the third and fourth quarters of 2016, the company reported GAAP net earnings of $170 million and $149.7 million, respectively. Cerner’s profits also decreased by 9.9 percent between Q3 and Q4, according to Kansas City Star.
2. The company’s total revenue, however, rose 8 percent between 2015 and 2016. In 2016, Cerner reported total revenue of $4.8 billion. In 2015, it reported $4.43 billion.
3. The company’s full-year operating earnings also increased in the past year. In 2016, Cerner reported operating earnings of $911 million, compared to $781 million in 2015.
4. The company expects full-year revenue for 2017 to land between $5.1 billion and $5.3 billion. Cerner also expects to hit revenue of $1.2 billion to $1.275 billion in the first quarter of 2017.
