Cerner conference to attract 14k visitors from 26 countries, have $18M impact on Kansas City economy

Health IT vendor Cerner is hosting its annual Cerner Health Conference Nov. 14 through Nov. 17 in Kansas City, Mo.

The conference will bring more than 14,000 attendees from 26 different countries to Kansas City, according to Fox4KC.com. Due to spending from Cerner and the conference attendees, the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association believes CHC could generate more than $18 million for Kansas City’s economy.

This year’s conference theme, “Creating Healthier Stories,” will manifest in 340 sessions and 740 speakers. Events will take place at the Kansas CityConvention Center, the SprintCenter, the Muehlebach Hotel and the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.

In addition to presentations, Cerner will host an inaugural open developer experience learning lab at the conference.
