Here are six recent news updates on key health IT companies.

Chicago-based GE Healthcare and Texas' NFL team, the Houston Texans, are working with Houston Methodist Concussion Center to launch a two-year telemedicine pilot project.

McKesson Specialty Health, a division of McKesson, launched an in-office dispensing solution to rheumatology and gastroenterology practices.

IBM Watson Health and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard will collaborate to research the underlying causes of cancer drug resistance.

The Beddit 3 Sleep Tracker is now integrated with health IT vendor eClinicalWorks and its patient engagement unit, Healow.

Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner partnered with American Well, a Boston-based telehealth services partner, to incorporate American Well's telemedicine services into Cerner's EHR.

Anacortes, Wash.-based Island Hospital will continue its relationship with Meditech by upgrading to the health IT vendor's web-based EHR.
