Through the IOD solution, practices will be able to give patients a simpler route to filling oral and self-injectable prescription medications.

“Successfully managing the care of patients with complex rheumatic and gastrointestinal diseases requires practice coordination,” said Randy Hyun, McKesson Specialty Health’s senior vice president and general manager of provider solutions. “Having the ability to dispense medication at the site of care empowers physicians to stay even closer to their patients.”

The IOD is modeled after McKesson’s physician IOD program.
