Here are four things to know about the selection.

1. The Cerner Millennium EHR will support Centra’s clinical and revenue cycle processes.

2. In a prepared statement, E.W. Tibbs Jr., president and CEO of Centra, said the health system chose Cerner because “it was the best option to provide our clinicians with a more comprehensive view of a patient’s health history.”

3. Centra will also implement HealtheIntentSM, Cerner’s near real-time population health management platform that aggregates data from multiple sources into a single patient record, Centra said.

4. Additionally, Cerner will support Centra’s growing health plan, which covers more than 45,000 individuals.
