Three details:
- PointClickCare has data on more than 5 million patients, according to an Oct. 12 news release. PointClickCare will provide the CDC de-identified patient data from residents of long-term and post-acute care facilities.
- The CDC will use the data to address public health priorities, analyze disease patterns, evaluate treatments and more.
- “Through this collaboration, CDC will have access to scarcely available data sets that, through analysis, can uncover unique insights into the health of older adults and those who are at greater risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19,” said Jason Menges, vice president of national accounts at PointClickCare.
