Breach at Michigan cancer treatment center impacts 22k

A breach at Flint, Mich.-based Singh and Arora Oncology Hematology has put the information of 22,000 patients in jeopardy, according to ABC12.com.

The cancer treatment center said one of its servers was accessed by an unauthorized party from February 2016 to July 2016. The accessed information included patients' names, insurance information and Social Security numbers.

Singh and Arora Oncology Hematology was informed of the breach in August 2016.

The center is offering one year of free credit monitoring to impacted patients.
