Health Current, created in 2007, includes 292 participating organizations. The HIE has helped more than 3,000 Arizona-based providers implement EHRs and it includes information for 8 million patients. It also includes more than 80 participating behavioral health organizations as well as health plans and reference laboratories.
The rebranding and name change reflects the growth and progress of the HIE.
“We have seen incredible growth recently as healthcare providers are being challenged to produce better care and outcomes, with access to more complete patient information one of their most critical needs,” said CEO Melissa Kotrys.
