Members will have access to LiveHealth Online, a website that connects patients with board-certified network physicians. This coverage may help patients who need healthcare after hours, those who live in rural areas and those with mobility issues. A summary of the medical and behavioral services a patient accesses through LiveHealth Online can be forwarded, with permission, to the patient’s primary care physician for continuity of care.
This remote access service will be available for no extra cost to members in Anthem’s Medicare Advantage plans in New Hampshire. These plans include a traditional HMO, an HMO that coordinates care for people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid and a local PPO.
