Mr. Ferro, who has served as the society’s CIO since 2012, will begin at EarthLink July 18. “Providing products is what most CIOs do internally but transferring that mindset to the consumer market is exciting,” he said, according to WSJ.
Mr. Ferro has also held the position of CIO at various other organizations, including Suwanee, Ga.-based AdCare Health Systems and New York City-based American International Group.
