OpenAI made three new tools available to ChatGPT for Healthcare customers among more than 20 announcements at its DevDay 2026 event Sept. 29.
The first is Dots, which OpenAI describes as always-on agents that learn what matters to users and work continuously on their behalf, according to a news release. Healthcare users can try a beta version once a workspace administrator enables it. The feature is off by default.
The second is Codex in the cloud, which lets developers run OpenAI’s coding agent from a computer, remotely from a phone or in the cloud from any device. Reusable development environments give teams a shared setup with approved settings and permissions.
The third lets organizations add supported ChatGPT plugins to Sites they build in ChatGPT. Colleagues in the same workspace can use those apps with their own connected data and permissions. OpenAI said it is also making automations easier to add and manage so Sites can keep shared information up to date.
OpenAI launched ChatGPT for Healthcare in January as an enterprise platform for hospitals and health systems.
