Minneapolis-based Allina Health has struck a deal to codevelop AI solutions with automation company Qventus.
As the inaugural member of the startup’s AI Solution Factory, the health system will create operational AI assistants with the company. The 12-hospital organization already uses the tools to optimize capacity in surgical and other inpatient units.
“Being able to build AI assistants in partnership with our care team members is critical to reducing their below-license work so they can increase their focus on patient care,” said Dave Ingham, DO, chief digital and information officer of Allina Health, in a Dec. 9 news release. “We look forward to working together to address challenges across additional care settings with the AI Solution Factory.”
